Noordermeer wins George S. Whitby Award 2010

Prof. Dr. Jacques W. M. Noordermeer will be the recipient of the “George S. Whitby Award 2010” for distinguished teaching and research.

The award honours outstanding international teachers of chemistry and polymer science and recognises innovative research. The award ceremony will take place at the spring meeting of the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) on 27 April 2010 in Akron, OH, USA.

Noordermeer is currently a full time professor of elastomer technology and engineering at the Technical University of Twente in the Netherlands and Scientific Chairman of the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI), Eindhoven, for the technology area Performance Polymers.
