    DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers adjusts Elvax and Nucrel prices
    Effective 1 June 2008, or as contracts allow, DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) announces a price increase of EUR 0.08 per kg on all grades of DuPont Elvax resins globally. The company also announced a price increase of up to EUR 200.00 per ton on all grades of DuPont Nucrel resins globally effective at the same time.

    Ineos Nova increases prices for all polystyrene products

    PCC Rokita increases prices for Roflam flame retardant
    The Phosphorus business unit of PCC Rokita SA announced a significant price increase for Roflam P (tris(2-chloro-1-methylethyl) phosphate) with immediate effect. Due to prices of yellow phosphorus which were raised dramatically during the last few months and very high prices of propylene oxide it is forced to increase prices, says the company.

    At Tire Technology Expo Rhodia Silcea, Lyon, France, launched its new Zeosil range of high surface-area silicas. The company says, that the originality of the technology is based on the association of a specific high surface-area and a new morphology, a unique combination of the silica aggregate and the element particles of which it is composed.
